Valentine's Day Special Issue: Love

You'll NEVER believe what today is!?
Singles Awareness Day!

ALL DUH SINGLE LADIES! Putcha Hands Up!
...
Just me? Okay ;-;
Just kidding ;D
You're probably thinking, "Thanks for applauding my loneliness...."

Hehehe... :P It's okay.. You're not alone... (Get it, not alone, because I'm alone with you...? Ha ha, funny.)

On the subject of loneliness, I saw a LOT of this goin' on today:

They should make a support group for the singles xD That would be kinda funny.

Anywhore.

Alright, everybody. It's February, the month of love, or whatever, and I feel like voicing how I feel about the whole thing. So prepare to read my opinion, because that is what will be talked about here today...?

First thing's first...
What is the meaning of "love"?
I talked to a good friend of mine the other day, and he asked me that. And I said:

"Well.. I know I'm only 15, but my idea of love is someone to share your life, love, happiness and togetherness with. Someone to celebrate being IN love with, I guess? If you know what I'm trying to say... Then again, its hard to say love really has a definition, right?"

HAAA, no. At least, not that last bit.

He then told me this:

"I disagree. Love is easy to define. Love is "wanting the best for the other person." Now, the definition of what is the best can be different. Letting someone go and letting them move on can be love. Settling down and marrying and having kids can be love. Anyone who tells you "If you loved me, you would..." and fill in the blank with whatever you want, that person is not concerned with love - they want people to do what they say. Love is not an emotion. Emotions come and go very quickly - ever woken up on the wrong side of the bed and you're angry for no reason? True love is not an emotion. You definitely have emotions for someone you love - happiness, concern, joy, contentment, etc. But love itself isn't a fickle emotion. And that's love of any type - love for a boyfriend, love for a friend, love for a sibling. It's all about wanting to help someone be the best version of themselves. I think once we take off that Hollywood mask of love being this giant, emotional mess where love makes everything perfect and shiny and happy and really look at love, we realize that love isn't that. It's being together in good times and bad, about being a true friend and the person willing to sit someone down and say "We need to talk.""

I really, really agree with him on all of that.

Aaaand then Valentine's Day comes along, so happy and cheery with all of it's love and happiness, and joy and laughter and other that other mush....

Don't get me wrong, I'm perfectly fine with mush.. Sorta. Just not... Today.... >:|

It's not only because I'm single. I could honestly care less.. The thing I hate about Valentine's Day is this:

Hearts get mended,
Whilst some get broken,
Songs get written,
Sad words get spoken.

Flowers live,
Love dies,
And even though it shouldn't
Some love lies.

Don't hate, I came up with that off the top of my head ;)
But basically, people get together, they break up, some end up still happily in relationships, and some... Well, obviously not. Flowers from Valentines stay alive, but the love sometimes dies, and some relationships are a big lie in themselves.

If that made sense...

I just looked at google to find a picture for V-Day, and there are SO many that describe my feelings!!

For example:

And that's that... Chinese food. Adios.

Fashion Complaints

I can't help it. I have to say how I feel about this.

Floral prints...

Who is the (insert insulting word here) who invented it? I will say, some, SOME of it, looks OKAY. Infact.. Not even some! VERY LITTLE floral print clothing looks attractive. I CAN'T STAND IT.

Dresses... Okay, whatever. Just so long as it's not over bearing.
Skirts... Mehh...
Shoes... I personally wouldn't wear them, but some of them are okay.
And then there's the jeans and the shirts....

Dear lord..

I'll show you what I mean...

 In this picture:

I would most definitely wear 3 and 4. Maybe on 2 and 6. I think the one on the right is pretty cute...

THIS is what I'm talking about. And you know what? This is about the most popular as of now!! I don't know if it's just me, but I don't find these attractive at all. Seriously. Oh, and wait for it....

BAM! Floral skinny jeans. I'm not a fan of skinny jeans to begin with  (especially since guys started wearing them... WTF...) But these?? Come on... This screams ridiculous, to me.

Okay, I lied. The first pair is actually tolerable. I'd wear them with a pink or white top or something. But I'm talking about the rest of them!

These, on the other hand... I would wear them. They're nice, and simple.

So, yes. I'm shocked that I've got such an opinion... I mean, maybe it's because they're dresses, but my usual outfit is a pair of jeans, ratty old shoes, and your average t-shirt.

My question for you is this: What are your do's and don'ts when it comes to fashion? I'd like to know, if you'd like to share.

On that note, I'm headin' out. TTYL :)

Snow...?

I distinctly remember telling you guys that we had an early spring...

And yet it has snowed.

How does that work? It doesn't. At least, it shouldn't -.-

Mother dearest came in today to wake me up. She told me "Get up", and left, then came back and said, "Dress warm." I wondered what she meant, and then I got out of bed. WHITE. EVERYWHERE.

So, yes.

I'm considering changing up my blog a little bit... What should I go with? Any suggestions?

Until later on....

Happy Belated Groundhog's Day!

We have an early spring this year :)
Okay. Well, here's whats on my mind today:
Today is the Superbowl.

*cricket cricket cricket*

49ers or the Ravens? O.o
I'm not gonna say who I'm rooting for, because I don't want Ravens fans to come and sit outside my window and glare at me with their huge ass wings and black feathers and giant claws...

(I think you get my point)

So anyway, how's everyone's week been? Not that anyone will ever answer... Because no one answers me... D:

I've had an emotional kind of week. And it has been HELL.
I don't like fighting, but I've been at war with my whole damn family for a little less than a week now.

I don't know why, but I'm just gonna put this out there: My favorite "swear word" is Damn :) It just makes me feel so much better when I say it! And it's simple. It's just.. Damn :D hehehe. Moving on.

Look at this!!!

*** DAMN IT!!
See? It's a habit. I hit the home button and it took me away from here, and I said damn.

So, yeah. :P

Do you guys watch Glee...?

Because I do. I like it. A lot.

*sigh*

I'm gonna drink some Mountain Dew and get up out this club, homes.

*facepalm*

I'm just gonna go. Bye.

DRAMA!

Talk about an emotional week... Aye carumba! Life is dramatic.

I don't have a whole lot to say tonight, not just because I've got so much reeling through my head that I can't think, but because I'm EXHAUSTED. I've cried so many times today, and have been crying for the past few days...

I'll get to the details after I catch some z's. For now, so long! xO
